No.1 Traveller is the leading specialist in independent airport hospitality.  The core of the business is the collection of designer Airport Lounges in the London airports, which are available to any passenger, flying on any airline.  In addition, the company operates Travel Spas and a boutique airport pod hotel as well as offering Chauffeur-driven transfers and a Travel Concierge service.  The business is young and growing fast.

Role Summary

 The position is part of the head office team of No.1 Traveller.  This is a new role in the commercial team. You will be responsible for supporting the commercial team in a wide variety of projects, all of which are aimed at driving revenues in our operations.  You will need to be commercially focused and willing to take on more responsibility as the business grows.  You will need to have an eye for detail as you will maintain an overview of all the commercial contracts in the business.  There are many new processes, so you need to deal with growth, change and multiple challenges.  The position reports into the Head of Commercial.  The role is one of a number of assistant roles at No.1 Traveller which also have responsibility for taking occasional customer service calls.  You will therefore need to customer focused and prepared to deal with customer enquiries over the telephone.

Experience:  You will have at least 2 years in the hospitality, aviation or leisure market.  You will have a flair for commercial opportunities, and may have sales or commercial experience.  You will be a self-starter who can pick things up quickly, and can adapt to a rapidly changing environment.  You will be a team player with a desire to get stuck in and have a go.

Role Objective

 • Ensure all commercial contracts are maintained, with all expiry dates and review periods coordinated with the relevant stakeholders.

• Support the General Manager - Airports in the Account Management of airline partners and ensuring we maximise the ancillary sales opportunity.

• Support the Commercial Relations Manager with the introduction and management of distribution partners.  This may include co-training distributors in our products and services

• Supporting the Head of Commercial in researching business development opportunities.  This includes exploring new opportunities, and conducting commercial analysis on existing income streams.

• Delivering excellent customer support through effective management of customer service calls.

Salary

£18k - £23K based on experience
